About Us

My name is Jay Miller, I am the creator of Medshark.  I have been a RN for 12 years with experience in critical care and med/surg.  I was working one night when I heard two travel nurses discussing their agencies.  One of them offered to connect the other with their recruiter.  This made me think about how frequently healthcare providers are changing agencies or leaving staff positions to start traveling. 

I then did some research on the referral bonuses being offered. These professionals can receive extra money through referral bonus sharing.  Medshark was built over the next months to help healthcare professionals make more money as well as to fulfill my dream to work for myself and transition away from bedside nursing!
